I spend a lot of time at my computer, or at my laptop or whatever. I finally decided that for one day a week, it is staying off.    I used to love to hear the clicks of high heel shoes in a nearly silent room. I guess I still do, I just don’t hear it as often. A library is an unlikely place to meet a man; I managed to do it though.  I caught him looking, I often catch them looking. I didn’t call him out on it, but I did follow his gaze.   There are advantages to having a party at your own house. You’re already home, and feel comfortable being in your own space. When you get quite tipsy you know where everything is. There are down sides too. So I think the best option is being a party at a close friend’s house. That way you are almost at home, without having the pre party stress of setting up. Lot of that going on this time of year though. Of course most of those are of the family sort, and a whole other type of prep is required.

  I had this date for Friday night. So I had rushed home, gotten showered and ready. I felt like I was running late already. I slipped my heels on and was rushing to the door.
